Tactics Advice: Grey Knights and...Eldar?

Soliciting advice on this one.

I am a Grey Knights player and have most of their Codex in my collection. My wife, while she doesn't play, loves to paint and assemble models. Recently, she got her first Eldar model: a Wraithknight. She would like me to use it in a match and take pictures.

I bought the Eldar Codex but we're definitely far from my GK base and I'd like to buy as few Eldar models to support this Wraith as possible.

Given that, what are some great tips for fielding both these factions at once?

Tactics Advice: Grey Knights and...Eldar?

Well, I play Eldar primarily, but have fielded a GK NSF quite often as an ally to my Eldar. They are a pretty good match up actually. Theme-wise, my GKs are anti-daemon Wraith-constructs, more info here: http://glennsgwmodels.blogspot.com/2016/01/eldar-terminators.html

But I can see adding a small force of Eldar being a good choice too. In order to field the WK, you'll need a CAD. The best 2 Troops will be 2x 3 Windriders with all Scatterlasers. For HQ choices, the cheapest will be a single Warlock, but a much better choice would be a Farseer Skyrunner. It's a cheap way to add Warp Charges. the best powers in this case would probably be the primaris Guide, Prescience and Shriek. I have had great success using my Libby rolling Divination and getting Misfortune. Since it affects the target unit, Aliies of Convenience can benefit from it: Go! Go! Rending Scatterbikes!

What these choices will give you is a few fast ObSec units for objective grabbing, but also a ton more firepower that can go a long way towards supporting your main GK force. The best thing the GKs give Eldar is a "buffer" of units to hide behind and safe from assaults.
For the WK, either go 2x Wriathcannons or Glaive/Shield. If you main force is GKs, I think the 2x cannons would be best since they have issues against big targets at range. You should already have plenty of CC (read 2+ DKs) so the D sword WK might not be as useful for you.

Edit: 1 Farseer Skyrunner, 2x 3 Scatterbikes and 1 WK with 2 scatterlasers is only 602pts, leaving you plenty of points for GKs

-

Tactics Advice: Grey Knights and...Eldar?

Like the post above said, best way to ally Eldar into any army is a CAD with:

1x Farseer on Jetbike
2x Units of 3 Jetbikes with Scat Lasers
1x WraithKnight

The Jetbikes are the most mobile unit in the game with very good firepower. They are also obsec, so you use those to compliment your slow GKs for objective grabbing. Your Farseer adds to Warp Charges and bolsters your psychic phase. Can also twin link your jetbikes or Wraithknight. Finally your Wraithknight his a huge fire magnet and when combined with 2 Dreadknights gives you very potent melee presence that few armies can match.

As the game starts shunt your Dreadknights upfield to pose an immediate threat while moving + running the Wraithknight up. Few armies can kill all 3 in one turn and when they don't, you can charge next turn and decimate most armies. Meanwhile your other units can support and score objectives. Pretty brutal combo.
