This all is total of 1850 points. Golden Host formation gets to choose after first turn when they arrive via deep strike. They aren't part of the Lost brotherhood detachment so they loose red thirst (initiative bonus for charging). They can do a disordered charge the turn they arrive. I hope Dante with his higher initiative than Kharn will kick his ass before sanguinary guard gets harmed

This list is total fluff and chopping, so no ob sec or holding what so ever but I like to think it could have some sort of mid-tier competiveness, what do you guys think?

Lost brotherhood & DC strikeforce rules gives me 6" free move after deployment, red thirst and reroll for warlord traits table, which is unique with fnp for warlord and such. Also DC Strike force chaplain has a 12" bubble of + 1A. I hope it stacks with that chapter banner! Also DC can take stormraven's as dedicated transport. Also worth mentioning that DC Chaplain has Rites of blood special rule which gives re-rolls for failed to wound rolls when charging.

Worth play testing? (DC weapon upgrades besides one power sword are already glued, so no adjustment there available.)

I long thought that who should ever play BDC when there's lot easier CAD/BSF detachment where you can take other formations aswell. BDC is actually the only way to get red thirst for golden host formation at 1850 points. +1I can make a real diffrence when charging T2+ from deep strike.

Would this non-death company (sniff) list be better then. That sentence sounds already weird, because DC has been the only good thing in C:BA for a while unless you counted now dissmissed free ASM transport or fragiosos..

Planning
Sanguinary priest goes with plasma cannon devastators for fnp save, points sink yes. Chaplain is kinda waste with ASM, but hard to figure out it's use any better. I don't own command squad, so have to take chaplain anyway. This formation doesn't give me any air support, but it has two devastator squad and one melta pod squad. Is this really worth the red thirst for Golden Host, I'm having doubts already, but hard to figure out easier way. Golden host's special rules are fearsome, but this fearsome? I could always skip the priest for ditching plasma cannons for missile launchers with flakk missiles for anti-air and add two more locator beacon's for precision MC/warlord disposal with the Golden Host.

Thoughts, this would do any better than the Lost brotherhood above?
