[1850] - Ultramarines - Tempest Fury (ITC - Semi Competitive)

Came up with a whole new list for 1850 ITC games and I think this one is the right one for me since it has almost everything I like, especially the stormraven. My question is does it seem better to keep the armoured task force as part of the Gladius for the sake of getting another set of combat doctrines or is it better to split them off and run them with iron hands chapter tactics to get it will not die on the predators and a slightly better roll on the techmarine healing ability?

GLADIUS STRIKE FORCE DETACHMENT
- Chapter Tactics: Ultramarines

Battle Demi-Company
- Captain Sicarius
- Tactical Squad (10 man, Grav cannon, flamer, rhino)
- Tactical Squad (10 man, Grav cannon, flamer, rhino)
- Tactical Squad (5 man, Grav cannon, rhino)
- Devastator Squad (5 man, 2x Missile Launchers)
- Land Speeder (2x, Typhoon Missile Launchers, Heavy Bolter)

Armoured Task Force
- Techmarine
- Predator (Lascannon Sponsons, Autocannon)
- Predator (Lascannon Sponsons, Autocannon)
- Predator (Lascannon Sponsons, Autocannon)

FORMATION DETACHMENTS
- Chapter Tactics: Ultramarines

Ravenhawk Assault Group
- Stormraven (Twin linked Assault cannon, twin linked multi-melta
- Ironclad Dreadnought (Chainfist, 2x Heavy Flamer)
- Sternguard Veteran Squad (5 man)

If you're not set on Sicarius, you could take Captain Centos instead and gain the extra Tactical doctrine this way. Centos cost 90 pts, which should give you points to gear your Sternguard vets a little or beef their numbers (or both).

What do you gain from Sicarius in this build? Honestly, I don't see the point of him in the list...

He's there more for a bit of narrative flair than competitive reasons, but I do love how he gives more leadership control over my army by making them LD10 which is pretty nice for combat squads and being more susceptible to checks. Plus he helps bring my stormraven on easier with +2 to reserves or if I want to run a null deployment against heavy alpha strikers.
