http://www.dakkadakka.com/dakkaforum/posts/list/14.page JForum - http://www.jforum.net 40k player here, I bought some AM back in 2015 when they had the Cadian Battleforce but didn't go around to using them due to interfering issues, starting assembling and customising them recently which is a handful so I just recently I picked up some Eldar "Start Collecting" at the FLGS, I also bought two cool mecha, one for each army.

I'd like advice on how good my current lists are and how to expand my current 1000 points of AM and 1000 points of Eldar to 2000 points(I was told this is the pts value most play at the FLGS) while minimising the expense as my hobby budget is small atm and without playing them together and avoiding the use of allies(except IK). I haven't played any games yet and I don't know what the local meta is like but I'd like to be able to compete as well as possible.
