I've been trying to decide what kind of turret I want to put on my DA Lion's Blade Strike force and am also starting a BA army. I can't decide on which turret (see title) I want to put on my razorbacks. I'm leaning towards the AC with the DA army and Las/Plas on the BA. But i'm not sure if one is better for which army. I love the versatility of the Las/Plas turret but feel like it wouldn't be as good for DA since they are more shooty but would be great for the BA since they assault waaaayyyyy more. Then again maybe they are both great and it doesn't matter or, conversely, one is so much better it would be dumb to put it in either army.

That being said I've decided to come here and ask everyone's opinion. Str 6 with Rend, 4 shots is great for bringing down almost anything, and the TL is great for hitting fliers too. AP chews apart anything not wearing power armor. It's most deadly when it's standing still, and firing at targets within 12", which just doesn't happen very often.

The AC always fires at full effect on the move and at 24", so it's a lot easier to get the full effect out of the AC. What I think is critical about the range and movement is that it's easier to overlap multiple AC Razorbacks onto a single target, or support other nearby units with it. It's better for focusing your firepower.
