[750] - Death Company - Ally with Sisters

I'm building a sisters force for my daughter (*wink*). Current plan is for some Immolator Spam Sisters... I'll have minimum squads in 4 Immolators. Great mid-field and later game, but I need something that is in my opponent's face on turn 1-2. Building a Blood Angels army for my son, so the new Death Compay seem to fit that need. We play a lot of 1500 in my area and I want this list to be primarily Sisters.

Can I run the Lost Brotherhood Formation effectively for less that 750 Points?
My thoughts:

Death Company Strike Force
Death Company Chaplin w/Gilded Crozius
Death Company Dreadnought (stock with melta-gun and stormbolter)
Death Company Dreadnought (stock with melta-gun and stormbolter)
5 Death Company Marines with Chainswords and Bolt Pistols
5 Death Company Marines with Chainswords and Bolt Pistols
5 Death Company Marines with Chainswords and Bolt Pistols
Auxillary: Rapid Assault Force
Landspeeder with a Heavy Flamer

That comes to a nice, round 700.

For the lost brotherhood you need a second chaplain. Minimum cost for the LBHF is 675points, but you want a transport for the dread and jump packs for the death company. At 755 you get that all, but dunno if running a nude dc is worth it points. For spare points in your army try to squeeze a power fist to 1-3 squads of dc. Footslogging assault dc dread will just die walking across the battlefield, but it can always be assigned to semi-expensive babysitter in cover to charge at your back field dakka units.

There's my 50cents..

0-5 Auxillary. You don't need any Auxillary.
The Lost Brotherhood trait of being able to move another 6 inches at deployment is what I'm taking the formation for. The rest will be MSU Immolator Sisters.

Even outside of the Lost Brotherhood, Death Company with jump packs and a hidden power fist can be scary. The jump packs give them enough mobility that, while they can't get a turn one charge like they can in a Lost Brotherhood, they can still easily get a turn two charge. They can actually still get a turn one charge if your opponent goes first and moves forward. If your opponent does not target the Death Company and instead targets the Battle Sisters, then the Death Company can quite easily ruin the day of most things they charge, so long as they don't charge anything T7+. Even against T5-6 they can be effective if they get the charge, especially if they have a Death Company Chaplain. If they do decide to target the Death Company, then that's exactly what you're bringing the Death Company for and the Battle Sisters get their breathing room. The Death Company are relatively durable in relation to other marines due to not only having a 3+ armour save, but also having feel no pain. Also, the fact that they're fearless means they will keep going, regardless of casualties.

Anpu-adom wrote:
The Dreadnaught is still a bit of an orphan... I'd really like to have two and three drop pods...

If you don't mind having a few more points in the Blood Angels than the Battle Sisters, then a drop pod for the Dreadnought is a very good idea. Although it can't charge turn one, it will drop in on your opponents front lines or backfield turn one and cause problems for them. When it drops down right behind their army, many opponents will panic and focus it down. This means that the rest of your army is free to move up. On the other hand, if they don't kill it, then it will go on a rampage and murder the nearest unit with 8 attacks on the charge. Alternatively, it can make for a good deterrent against people wanting to charge the Battle Sisters. If they charge the Battle Sisters, they have to deal with the Dreadnought coming in on your turn, again with 8 attacks on the charge. If they charge the dreadnought, then the Battle Sisters can move away and get in some more shots before they get charged (if the Dreadnought loses, it still has 6 attacks when charged), or they can join in.
