I don't know much about these Space Wolves, so I'll probably have to read the novels and not just wiki pages, but I've heard that they have been in the warp for... a long time... 10k years? How could they even survive that without being chao- Ahem. As they've been there so long, and because they've been in many battles, I'm under the impression that they have little if any of their original equipment. They've probably appropriated equipment from... chaos space marines and... chaos space marines? (What do they eat? Bloodletter ribs? And drink? Bylestim combined with the distilled liver-juices of a Bloodthirster?)

I've been given the impression that the 13th company would be a lightly armed group of elite light infantry specializing in fast, close combat assaults using mostly melee weapons. Thunderwolf Cavalry, Wulfen and Wolf Scouts feel like the troops that match this the best in this case, likely with a heavy melee focus. It sounds like they wouldn't have any heavy armour or vehicles anymore, with the most heavily armoured troops being in power armour.

With the whole being in the warp thing, and replacing equipment over time.. what colours would their armour be? Would they have any Space Wolf colours at all? Are Wulfen colourblind? Do they have paint in the warp? Can you get the pigments from various colourful tzeentch demons to get the colours you need? What does the warp look like and what kind of camouflage would they wear.. rainbow coloured cloaks? Would they have a supply of wolves/thunderwolves, or fur for cloaks/armour to look space wolfy, or would fur and thunderwolves be rare and irreplaceable? Would the Wulfen be even more... wolfy from the amount of warp?

The 13th were made up of warriors who'd come close to turning they were more feral than their brother's but still in control, but high stress was more likely to trigger the change.

When they followed the thousand sons they were as well equipped as other great armies, in the eye they scavenged weapons and armour from defeated traitors, they learnt how to cleanse the taint of chaos from those weapons and replacement parts.

They have a base somewhere in the eye and raid the chaos traitors as opportunity presents itself.
