Once again up for some advice from the experts here. Am looking at trading one of my armies in for the following work models...

Grukk face rippa
Nob with waaagh banner
5x Nobz - Kombi flamer, 3 power Klaws and a big choppa
Mek
2x Ork painboy
15 Ork stormboyz
3 Ork mega nobz - all Kombi flamer
11 Ork tankbustas
Ork grot squad - 10 grots and handler
10 flash gitz -
Ork Deff dread
2x Battle wagon

I'm only playing casual and my group have convinced me to go works despite the rubbish codes by allowing me to take the Mek Boss Buzzgob in 1850pts as an incentive!

Can anyone with Orky experience put together a nice varied army with the above models and any extra... happy to buy Big Gunz, flyers, boyz, bikes, etc if the list will work!

Ork Horde Detatchment or CAD (up to you which will be better, probably the CAD imo unless you want to cut stuff and fit the 3rd painboy in somewhere)

The war bikers are just those in the codex right? Is it worth upgrading nobz with the bike upgrade?

Also is it worth looking at psykers?

What would I drop from a list like that to introduce the stompa?

So the trade fell through...

On the bright side this means that I can put a list together with anything that the mighty orks have to offer.

To reiterate I'm looking to include the stompa as 1) I want that big presence on the table top and 2) I'm only playing casually so having the most kick ass list isn't the point (I'm playing works so I want to have fun!)
