The start collecting kit includes a specialist marine, who I built to be using the Grav gun.

However, I still have a flamethrower, a plasma gun, and a couple other things.

Can i use those instead of bolters on a generic marine?

How far can i go with the customizations? I put a power fist on my sergeant, which means i have a leftover chainsword and power sword.
