[1850/1500] - Space Wolves - Hybrid Point-Size Army

I was looking through an army I made about a week ago, and decided that some changes were in order. I ended up with two different armies, one that was 1500 points, and another that added on two squads and brought it up to 1850 points. I was wondering if they were at least decent, if not good. I would appreciate all criticism, positive or negative, it all helps a ton. Also, if this list looks familiar, I posted a version of it for 1500 points about a week ago that I modified a bit. Here are the lists:

Brethren of the Fell-Handed -

Bjorn the Fell-Handed w/ Helfrost Cannon, Drop Pod
2 Venerable Dreadnoughts w/ Fenrisian Great Axes and Blizzard Shields, Drop Pods, Extra Armor

Company of the Great Wolf -

Harald Deathwolf w/ 2 Fenrisian Wolves
Wolf Guard Terminators, 2 Additional - 4 w/ Thunder Hammers and Storm Shields, 1 w/ Autocannon and Power Fist
Blood Claws - Wolf Guard Pack Leader w/ Terminator Armour, Combi-Flamer, Frost Sword, 1 w/ Power Fist, Flamer, 3 w/ Default Loadout
Lone Wolf w/ Combi-Flamer, 2 Fenrisian Wolves
Thunderwolf Cavalry - 1 w/ Storm Shield, Thunder Hammer, 1 w/ Storm Shield, Power Maul, 1 w/ Double Wolf Claws

3 pts remain

1850 pts Addon

Long Fangs w/ 3 Additional - Long Fang Ancient w/ Meltagun, Power Fist, Wolf Guard Pack Leader w/ Terminator Armor, Combi-Melta, 2 w/ Missile Launchers, 1 w/ Lasercannon
Grey Hunters - Wolf Guard Pack Leader w/ Multi-Flamer,Terminator Armor, Thunder Hammer, 1 w/ Flamer, Power Fist, 1 w/ Plasma Pistol, Close Combat Weapon, 2 w/ Default Loadout

1 pts remain

Again, all criticism is welcome.

[1850/1500] - Space Wolves - Hybrid Point-Size Army

I don't like wolf guard terminators as they are spendy and pretty bad at their jobs. If you're gonna throw points at a melee squad like that, pick up a squad of Wulfen instead. You'll end up with +1w, a FNP, a bunch of special rules, the ability to sweeping advance and a generally better unit for about the same cost. If you use a SS or 2, the 3+/5+ is only fractionally worse than a 2+ save so don't worry about their crappy armor.

Also, I personally don't like Harald for the same reason I avoid using our flying landraiders... coming in on turn 2 can reaaaaaly suck sometimes. Especially for thunderwolves... Sometimes thunderwolves can make it into melee turn 1 if they press hard enough... and with wulfen this is even more likely to happen. Keeping them in reserve means they won't be useful until turn 3 and by then you've lost at least 1 turn of melee and possibly 2 with them. Switch out Harald for a WGBL or a Wolf Lord on a thunderwolf, give it runic armor and either a SS and a relic weapon or the relic claws and move on.

I would be cautious about putting a bloodclaw packleader in termie armor... it makes it so you can't sweeping advance while he's still alive. Consider using a drop pod for them or add a rune priest in runic armor to increase their survivability instead.

I prefer lone wolves in termie armor with stormshields and thunder hammers just so I can scare the piss out of my enemies and make them waste entire rounds of fire on it. Still, a lone wolf is never a bad option. Field it with impunity.

Long fangs have been less than useful to me overall but If you're going to run them you're doing it pretty well. It's really a meta call but I find mine die waaaaay too fast for me to really wanna field them. Still they're a cheap heavy option... Have you considered a squadron of landspeeders with melta's instead of them? It's half distraction carnifex and half shooty death squad... like opposing armies HAVE to shoot at them or just flat out lose something important. And that gives your thunderwolves less chances to die if they aren't being targeted.

Again, grey hunters wise, if you're gonna add in a pack leader in termie armor, give him a shield instead of a hammer. Putting him at the front of the squad will give the entire unit a 2+3+ while he is still alive so long as he's the closest model. Never a bad option when you're using a shooty squad.

Also look into adding an Iron priest on a thunderwolf. He gets cyberwolves which are nice "extra wounds" so to speak... and he can get a helfrost hammer thingy now...
