				<title>Space Marine Chapter suggestions?</title>
				<description><![CDATA[ Looking to build a 750pt ~ 1,000pt army before Christmas and my eyes have been set on vanilla Marines! (Yay!)<br /> <br /> But I have no idea which Chapter to follow!<br /> <br /> My general theme was to build the army around shooty-Tactical Marines with mainly. Assault Squads.<br /> <br /> I just love Jump Pack Marines! Just the normal chainsword + bolt pistol marine with jump pack model is so awesome!<br /> <br /> I don't plan to stick the <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(167);'>Tac</span> Marines into Rhinos/Razorbacks. 				<description><![CDATA[ On scanning Chapter Tactics and metadetachments the Raven Guard, White Scars, and Ultramarines interact with Assault Marines in some way, plus the Carcharodons, Minotaurs, and Fire Hawks out of the Badab War update.<br /> <br /> Keep in mind you can make up whatever paint scheme you like for whatever Chapter Tactics rule you'd like. No reason you can't make up a Raven Guard successor that happens to be dark blue and red.]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ Thanks for all the replies guys.<br /> <br /> I actually want to follow a color scheme set by the codex so I guess I wont be creating my own any soon.<br /> <br /> Someone suggested Flesh Tearers from the Shield of Baal Exterminatus supplement. <br /> <br /> It allows for the Flesh Tearers Strike Force formation which is 1 <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(56);'>HQ</span>, 1 Troop and 1 Elite choice compulsory and then allows a whooping 5 more Fast Attack choices (with other more optional choices of course).<br /> <br /> This fits my theme wouldn't it?<br /> (Oh and just a question on supplement codices, can I use them in tournies as well (do they count as official rules/formations?) or are they just for fun?<br /> <br /> If the rules are totally legal and will continue to be, I think I know how which Chapter to do!<br /> ]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ While both “Space Marines” and sharing a lot of units and gear, the <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(10);'>BA</span> and normal codex are separate, self contained, armies.  So you would need one of the books, not both.<br /> <br /> If you love jump packs, the BAs have a lot of options to use them.  However, do take note that while <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(457);'>JPs</span> are iconic and cool, mechanically they are a little lackluster on the table.  The Vanilla marine codex is stronger overall, and has more/better supporting units and formations.  Not that <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(10);'>BA</span> are unplayable in a more casual environment, but will struggle with their current book in a more competitive setting.]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ As a Blood Angels player, I would recommend Raven Guard if you want Assault Marines. I no longer use regular assault marines in my <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(10);'>BA</span> army. I prefer the elite jump units (Sanguinary Guard, <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(349);'>DC</span>). The Raven Guard's chapter tactic ability to use their jump packs in the movement and assault phases makes them better. And their Assault/Vanguard formation is better too.<br /> <br /> That is not too say the Blood Angels don't have cool stuff. I love my Baal predators and Furiosos. It's just Death Company and Sanguinary Guard are a better investment than Assault Marines. So with that knowledge, if you still want in. 				<description><![CDATA[ Space Wolf Skyclaws are beasts at <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(19);'>CC</span> with 4 attacks on the charge (assuming pistol + <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(20);'>CCW</span>), cheaper than assault marines because they are the equivalent of scouts (but with power armor), can take a hidden power weapon plus can give power weapons to the squad leader. They also have a detachment called the Firehowlers Greatpack that is all bikes or jump packs. Combine with Wulfen to make Skyclaws able to potentially pull off turn 1 charges and zooming around he battlefield with crazy speed (or turn into murder machines when locked in combat).<br /> <br /> As for color schemes space wolves use that pale grey blue color but you can also use their 30k colors which is grey if you don't like that (or paint them however you want).]]></description>
