Just keep him away from 2+ Armour or anything that hits faster, harder and more time than him and he's good. Having 3+/4++ means he will die fast to Power Weapons in high quantity but as long as you keep him in a unit and keep challenging you're usually good. (aka don't pick fights with anything with 2+, above 5 or 6 attacks at Initiative with AP3 and below, or anything with lots of T/W). Take a Stormwolf and pack them full of Bloodclaws with him. They eat anything that isn't a Terminator (or a GUO).
