I'm a 35 year old who used to play Epic, Blood Bowl and 40k in the mid to late nineties. After a 15 year hiatus I've been dragged back into the hobby, mainly because of GW reintroducing specialist games and particularly Blood Bowl. I picked up some paints and a few marines a month or so back to paint to see if I still have the painting skills (if I ever had any in the first place!) and now seem to be assembling an Ultramarines army too. I'll be posting an army list for comment in the next couple of days to see if I'm on the right track
