If you're set on taking an assassin that is not a Culexus, I'd much rather take a Callidus instead of the Eversor. Peltasts are indeed awesome, maybe bordering on being a bit OP even. I've had them kill a unit of 20 Stealers and a Patriarch in ruins in one volley. I like the Eversor, he's a solid murder machine and will stop most infantry and vehicles in their tracks. With infiltrate and his extended charge range he should get stuck in pretty fast. He also puts me right at 1000. I would have to find points otherwise.
