				<description><![CDATA[ Hey guys!<br /> <br /> I've got a tournament coming up in a few weeks, and would love some thoughts. At 1000 points it's pretty small - you play 4 games and it's over in one day. There are rules like "whole army must be from one codex", "no unbound lists", "no super heavies or <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(787);'>LoW</span>", "no fortifications", "no forgeworld". Formations are okay.<br /> <br /> I've had a hell of a lot of success with my Grey Knight shunters so they'll probably form the backbone of my army. Let me know what you think.<br /> <br /> <font color='red'><b>List 1 - Deathwatch <br /> </b><br /> <br /> 5 Interceptors w. incinerator<br /> <br /> Nemesis Dreadknight w. Heavy Incinerator, Personal Teleporter & Nemesis Greatsword<br /> <br /> 5 Interceptors w. incinerator<br /> <br /> Nemesis Dreadknight w. Heavy Psycannon & Personal Teleporter<br /> <br /> 5 Deathwatch w. 2 Frag Cannons<br /> <br /> 1 Corvus Blackstar transport w. Halo Launcher</font><br /> <br /> NB: I'd probably hold my <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(305);'>GK</span> back until the Corvus arrives, then shunt in for a delayed alpha-strike. Lots of scrimping on upgrades to save points. But at 1000 points, 2 mobile <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(514);'>DK</span> and a flyer might be unanswerable to some lists.<br /> <br /> <font color='green'><b>List 2 - Assassins </b><br /> <br /> 5 Interceptors w. incinerator<br /> <br /> Nemesis Dreadknight w. Heavy Incinerator, Personal Teleporter & Nemesis Greatsword<br /> <br /> 6 Interceptors w. incinerator, 1 falchions and 1 halberd<br /> <br /> Nemesis Dreadknight w. Heavy Psycannon & Personal Teleporter<br /> <br /> 1 Vindicare Assassin<br /> <br /> 1 Callidus Assassin</font><br /> <br /> NB: Callidus increases chance of going first and their reserves getting delayed, which is great for an alpha. Just not sure if the Vindicare can handle vehicles on his own...<br /> <br /> <font color='brown'><b>List 3 - Land Raider </b><br /> <br /> 6 Interceptors w. 1 incinerator & 1 falchions<br /> <br /> Nemesis Dreadknight w. Heavy Incinerator, Personal Teleporter & Nemesis Greatsword<br /> <br /> 7 Interceptors w. 1 incinerator & 1 falchions<br /> <br /> Land Raider (for Deathwatch)<br /> <br /> 5 Deathwatch with 2 Frag Cannons, 1 combi-melta & 1 grav gun</font><br /> <br /> NB: One less dreadknight than the other lists, but the <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(87);'>LR</span> brings some long range anti-tank. Would most 1000 point armies have an answer for a Land Raider is the real question here...<br /> <br /> <font color='violet'><b>List 4: Inquisition</b><br /> <br /> 5 Interceptors w. incinerator<br /> <br /> Nemesis Dreadknight w. But will the chimeras be able to get to where they need?<br /> <br /> Also, I wanted to check that there's nothing illegal about taking the same formation twice?
