				<description><![CDATA[ I'm looking to get into Eldar and don't want to spend loads. Been looking on ebay and guardians can be picked up quite cheaply. Here's my attempt at a 1500 list. Eldrad will go with the d-cannons for protection and the other Farseer with the other warlock guardian unit. Avatar stays close to the guardian units to give them his buff bubble of furious charge, rage and fearless. <br /> <br /> Psychic powers will be key. I will roll on telepathy to try to get invisibility once or twice.I will use telepathy to protect the d-cannons and the Avatar. Rolling on telepathy will also give me psychic shriek which will work well with the shadowseer's mask.  I will also want to get guide at least once to support the d-cannons. <br /> <br /> The warlocks could be lucky and booster the suvivability of the d-cannons and the Avatar by rolling for protect or enhance. They could also be deadly if they roll for horrify as a -3 to leadership combined with the mask and psychic shriek could be deadly.<br /> <br /> With the command benefits of the Craftworld Warhost, all units in that formation will run a full 6" meaning that although footslogging, they will move quickly across the board. The success of the army will depend on getting up close quickly as the ranged weapons are mostly short ranged.<br /> ]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ I would highly suggest scouting D-Cannons. With only a 24" range the early 6" advance that doesnt make you lose shooting will be huge. The avatar although cool, does not have much of a place in this army. He helps with assault by Eldar faction models, none of your eldar units want to assault. Those units of guardians should be identical to each other. Also you can only give 1 heavy weapon per 10 models. Your best bet here is probably 10 Guardians, a Warlock, and a bright lance in each unit. You also need an auxiliary formation, simplest way to do this for you is organize the Rangers into an Outcast auxiliary choice.  This leaves you 260 points to play with. I would recommend some additional range fire power that still fits the flavour of your army, namely a unit of war walkers with some fire support for your infantry. You can invest in 4 War Walkers which will be a part of the Pale Courts Battle Host, run 3 units, 2 units of single Walkers with 2 bright lances, and one unit of 2 walkers with scatter lasers. 				<description><![CDATA[ Some misinformation above.<br /> <br /> The Avatar is useful to guardians due to the fearless aura. Sure they can't make use of the rage he gives them, but fearless guardian blobs are always good. People normally take 15-20  man blobs when utilizing an avatar though, since they take casualties so easily.<br /> <br /> You CAN take 2 heavy weapons in 10 man guardian units thanks to the pale Courts battlehost letting you take 1 weapon per 5 guardians. so feel free to keep those bright lances in.<br /> <br /> Most of the other advice is alright. I'll post my 2000 point guardian list here as well just for you to compare to.
