as I put more force the "tube" flattens and I have to remake it/smoothen it again.

Does anyone have a good solution? It's sad to waste greenstuff when I try so long that it will be too cured to work
with.

Light pressure roll up
Same pressure roll down
Slightly more pressure roll up
