				<description><![CDATA[ Lately I am thinking about starting a small eldar force. I really like (jet)bikes and the idea of having ML3 psykers (on jetbikes).<br /> <br /> After taking a look at their codex and keeping in mind that i would want a jetbike-themed army, i came up with something like this for 1000 points:<br /> <br /> Farseer conclave  575<br /> <br /> - 5 farseers on jetbikes<br /> <br /> Runeweaver host  412<br /> <br /> - 1 farseer on jetbike<br /> - 6 jetbikes /w scatter<br /> - 1 fireprism<br /> <br /> *987pts*<br /> <br /> That would be 18 mastery levels on 1k pts, but only 13 models. <br /> <br /> Also the army wouldnt be that cheap for the bodycount (2x start collecting + 4 farseers are 234€, not counting any discount)<br /> <br /> So all you eldar players out there: can this army win games? Or would i just waste money? <br /> Thanks in advance!<br /> ]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ I don't think A "Farseer conclave" is a legal formation. There is a normal unit entry called a warlock conclave that consists of only warlock's, and there is a formation called a seer council that consists of a warlock conclave and 2 Farseers. There's no detachment I can think of that let's you take 5 farseers.]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ I think its from apocalypse - one of the eldar players in my <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(38);'>flgs</span> plays that formation regularly. Although thats at 2k + points <img src="/s/i/a/6d3c0a908a3861135dfaebde91c0ecf6.gif" border="0"><br /> <br /> In the codex there is the seer council, consisting of 2 seers and 5 warlocks. I could use that too, as its cheaper pointswise, but it will cost me 4 dice in warp-phase.]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ Well, I'd consider a Seer Council.<br /> I've played it regularly in former editions and smaller as well larger tournaments. Its harder to crack than a coconut if played right. For this, you need the right powers like fortune to keep it alive.<br /> The modern approach to Eldar is different: Jetbikers, Warpspiders, and a Wraithknight.<br /> Frankly, I'd go this way.]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ At the 1000 points level seer councils do seem overly strong. Maybe check with your group to see if they're cool with it. If you want to nerf it a little, then you could try running a seer council on foot instead of on bikes.<br /> <br /> If you're not married to the idea of a psyker list, then as wuestenfux mentioned, an Aspect host is still fun and strong, and a 1000 point list shouldn't have too much trouble dealing with it.]]></description>
