I have looked at the imperial bastion but they can only shoot out of 2 sides really so thats 4 people at most. I could also get the Wall of Martyrs Imperial Bunker this can have 4 people shooting out of each of its 2 windows and its 20 points cheaper than the bastion, but there is also the firestorm Redoubt I could use with its 2 mounted weapons but only a total of 6 shooters out of it.

With the new Iron warriors rules I can place up to 3 different fortifications down as one choice, but these are the ones I am looking at at the moment for use with bolstering my troops defence and placing them within the walls of these buildings rather than saying sod it and playing with 6 Vengence weapon batteries and blowing the world up that way

So looking at the rules of just the bastion, bunker and redoubt and ignoring all the other fortifications out there which of these 3 do you think is best.

I would rule out the bastion as it is 4 maybe 6 people shooting but not much else, where as the bunker is cheaper, doesnt have the heavy bolters but I could have 8 shots coming out of it, be it 8 obbys taking up 16 slots with a HQ hiding away inside to use the emplaced weapon , 2 teams of havoks or a mix but also go for the Redoubt that is fully automated but has 6 shots coming out of it could be fun to play with having twin battle cannons or even playing with the punisher to squash down horde armies.

So what do you guys think about these 3 fortifications?
