When a planet is infested with Orks, cleansing it of the xenos threat is difficult. A single set of spores manages to avoid detection and decades later you end up with another infestation. So when an Imperial planet calls for help dealing with an Ork threat, the Dark Angels move in to try and stop them from taking root.
