Been playing the game for about 9 years on and off, finally getting around to getting my guard army rounded out and basic things like... getting them painted lol.

Anyways, i have some metal ratlings, but... I dont like metal. Clearly GW doesn't offer an alternative in the guard range. Anybody know of any appropriately (compared to a guardsman) sized halflings from another company I might sub in? Not metal.

Appreciate any thoughts people might have.

The mantic sharpshooters look awesome! But a little too beefy for what I have in mind.

The hobbit archers are cool, two questions for anybody that might have them:

- Are they plastic?
Cant tell from the description.

- How big are they in comparison to a guardsman?
