I was thinking a FSE monat spam would be fluffy and fun, filling out 3 CAD charts. Would that be something a casual gamer would be able to handle. I am not interested in purposely gimping a list by not taking markerlights or ways to handle various threats, I wouldn't be doing them any service to them, and wouldn't be worthy of commanding tau. My typical lists consist of OSCs, drone nets, a few big suits and crisis bombs and it isn't any fun for most people to end up on the ropes after the second shooting phase.

DE usually have a rough time vs Tau, its just a bad match up for them. When your basic troops have extended range and glance on a 5+, it makes for an uphill battle. Not to mention missile broadsides.

I'm in a similar boat in an escalation league with Tau. Trying to keep it lighthearted, so I have a heavy kroot presence(dogs and riders), an ethereal, a sunshark, and a few piranhas here and there.
