Can I chuck my paints into the garbage when I get back or is there any hope?

My only hope is that the colors are in a crate under another crate on a balcony that's glassed in, and that we haven't had temps. below 25F / -4C this winter.

The pigment turned into little flakes swimming in the solution. This was also about 20 years ago, so they probably use different formulas now.
