Mordheim alternative minis? Iron kingdoms like?

Hello!
I'm starting some warbands for mordheim and i'm interested in making them in a steampunk style.
I REALLY like the minis from iron kingdoms but as they are 32mm and mordheims are 28mm i'm not sure they would be compatible. Wouldn't like them to be too big or look too tall in comparison with the ones from my friends wich they all have warhammer fantasy minis.
Are they very diferent in size?
Is there an alternative game with similar aestethics to iron kingdoms i can get minis from?

Shorter bases could eat in to the size difference pretty easily.
There are a plethora of companies that do MDF bases and they're pretty slim.

Games Workshop's 28mm is really around 32mm. It's become much larger lately, but even in the late 90's-2000's their miniatures are of a larger scale/stock than most. As Pour said you can do simple stuff with bases and they'll look fine. It's also a skirmish game so size isn't nearly as important as regimented games (if 40 guys are shorter than 40 other guys it looks odd....but one guy being shorter than another? That's normal).

No one is going to refuse to play you because your figures are 1-2mm bigger, etc. The only thing you'll want to avoid is what people call classic 25's (they can be 20-24mm tall sometimes and that becomes pretty obvious).
