Up until this point I have still been buying all of my rule books and codices in traditional hardback. I've decided to switch to buying electronic versions. If I am using an ipad mini to view them, what is the difference between the enhanced versions and the regular tablet pdf versions? Is it worth the extra money?

That said I would not buy it right now. In 6th edition I bought it and 3 months later 7th edition came out. With 8th edition rumoured around the corner, I would wait to get anything right now, be it paper or electronic format.

That said, I love the interactive versions. It has helped me out so much. You can even book mark pages so no real flipping through pages as well. So yes worth the extra money for me. Well I didn't even buy the paper version this time around.

All this plus using the find function to mitigate an incomplete index, or to remember which units can take haywire grenades or have the Hit and Run USR.

Perhaps one day I'll be smart enough to figure out how to skip searching/suppress results from the fluff half of codexes when using the find function. I would like better/more detailed tables of contents (expandable headers?). Recommend always having access to the physical copy of the rules when you play, or agree beforehand to use the rules in the ebook at that moment.
