Space Marines Heavy Duty

I have had a long time desire to build an army around 2 big squads of Centurions, 2-4 Iron Clads and drop pods. Maybe even a Stormraven for some more Centurions and an Iron Clad.

I play casual almost always. I ask if this would be fun because it's an expensive buy in. What Pros and Cons would there be?

I love the idea of heavy metal walkers and drop-pods on the battlefield.

Depends on your definition of fun I guess and what your local meta looks like. If I could just pluck models off the shelf, I always thought it'd be amusing to run a Centurion Siegebreaker Cohort together with a Landraider Spearhead, but I'm not going to go out and buy that army just for the lulz. Worst comes to worst, assault cents aren't thaaaaaaat bad in a casual meta and Ironclads have been the only usable dreads for ages and only got better with the buffs a few months back while grav cents can easily make up for any shortcomings of the rest of your army.

As for pros and cons, I think you'll have a lot of one sides games, where the enemy either easily deals with you or gets bent over hard and they're not usually fun. You're relatively immune to a large amount of small arms fire but you've also got no invulnerable save and anything that even remotely looks like a squadron of vindicators is going to cause you to have a Very Bad Day tm.

Good points. I don't want to be that guy that makes everyone else in the group buy and play pieces only because its the only way to deal with a player.

If you want to do Centurions well, use Imperial Fists. Sure, they lose out a bit because their special rules are duplicated by the Grav Amp. But if you ran Lascannon/Missile Launcher Centurions, you get a lot bang for your buck.
