				<title>Gun Emplacements for Eldar,,,</title>
				<description><![CDATA[ In my bits box I have a lot of eldar heavy weapons that are not seing any field use, and Would like to model some gun emplacements, something like the imperial quad guns. I'm just not sure how to integrate then in a game or in a fortification to be claimed...<br /> <br /> Where do I start with something like that, rules and points-wise?<br /> <br /> Thanks!<br /> ]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ well the *imperium fortifications* like  Aegis wall ,  bunkers, firestorm redoubt, promethium lines  and void shields  as example are just standard fortification rules and allowed to be used for any army.<br /> <br /> Rulewise you can do your own conversions of Eldar structures or weapons on it and deploy as such things.<br /> <br /> I do own a 3rd party Eldar Aegis line (just the walls) with a conversion platform with 2x eldar lascannons to represent the Icarus gun there.]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ Ok, then, I'll start breaking out the foam, plasticard and old sprues and get on with the building! <br /> <br /> I understand that <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(50);'>GW</span> sells mostly imperium-related armies, but I find it a bit dissapointing that there are so few xeno-themed scenery pieces... The deathworld forest that they just came out with is barely eldar, so the only non-imperium pieces of scenery are the tau tidewall pieces...<br /> <br /> Time to get building...]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ One problem i faced when trying to model eldar terrain is that they would rather use forcefields of sorts than physical walls (think like dawn of war 2). So after several hours of tinkering i reduced it all to ruins, burried it partially in soil and plants and called it a day... sadpandaissad.]]></description>

In theory of all the worlds occupied by the eldar, only the exodite worlds are still occupied, so any structure would either be ruins, temporary, or 'primitive', in the sense that exodites would be primitive.<br /> <br /> I once had the idea of creating a 'craftworld' game board, where eldar structures would make sense...<br /> <br /> But then it's not just a few pieces of terrain, it's a whole freaking board... ]]></description>
