I'm about to start painting my miniatures, got the paint, but not the tools. I've decided on army painter brushes as my FLGS has the whole range with 30% marked price for this week only, and the triangular design feels much more comfortable to paint with.

basically the link is for the masters brush cleaner and restorer, even the small pot will last for years and keeps brushes in good condition. The brushes I have from the army painter are the psycho, which is a completely insanely small pointed brush but I have not used this yet, I have not painted anything tiny enough. I have also got the small and large dry brush, which work well. I would, however, get some cheaper flat brushes for when you need to do really rough dry brushing saves abuse on the more expensive ones. You might want a highlighter and fine detail brush.
