Great battle report, thank you for posting. I think taking all three characters is too much. You were complaining about how few harlequin models you were playing but if you dropped yvraine you could have had a whole other troupe with caresses in a starweaver. Granted she was in the back the whole game and you didn't get to use her so maybe she is amazing bit I am not sure she is worth her points. The yncarne did a lot of work it was very nice to see him played.

How do you feel the visarch did? We only saw him in one combat but did you feel he was a needed addition for the killing power of the troupe?

Finally, considering how frail the harlequins can be do you think obsec from the cad is better than strength from pain from a reborn warhost? Keep the battle reports coming and post pictures of your models when you finish painting.

Thanks for checking out the video! I agree, running all three of the new HQs is a large points investment, particularly in a smaller scale game (1500pts). It was fun trying the Harleys out in a CAD, but it really didn't benefit them this game since they were never contested on an objective. I need to try playing those HQs individually and really taking advantage of their strength from death rules. I'm pretty sure I could have used it twice during that game but misinterpreted the rules. The visarch is pretty cool, but I made the mistake of attaching him to a troupe which takes away his strength from death ability. I'm looking forward to testing them out some more and playing them against some different armies. Unfortunately, I don't think this new codex fixes Harlequins, but it at least gives them some new ways to be played
