We are new so, this is our introduction thread


Well, now, let's go to business.

We have a project called Reichguard foot knights. You can read a lots articles about it in our blog LastSword.com .

Since March 16 2017 to April 9 2017 kickstarter will be open. If you would like to support us, we will be so glad for that!

Let us tell you a bit about the project:

"Reichguard foot knights project was started as a birthday present. This project has been growing until today. Nowadays we have master moulds of our 32mm figures, and we want share to them with everyone!

What is project aim? Easy, to give everyone a chance to collect our models. We are going to produce fantasy range of 32mm miniatures for wargamers, RPGs and table top wargames."



We have too hand sculpted scenery pieces that you can add like and add-on.

2 concerns...

1) "Plastic resin" as the material (on the KS) page -- what does that mean, exactly? What are its properties? How well does it hold detail? What do you glue it with? How durable is it? How well does paint adhere? Etc.

2) Those walls and gates seem very tall, for 32mm scale minis! I don't really think of medieval gates and walls as being more than twice the height of a human, unless they are castle walls. Plastic resin is a new material developed by Alemany Minaitures.

What are its properties? How durable is it?

This resin is much flexible than polyurethane resin. It's great against impacts.

How well does it hold detail?

You can check details holding in our pictures. Foot knights are made with the plastic resin.

What do you glue it with?

You can cut ir with a modelling knive and glue with cyanocrylate. As we did with our models in the pictures.

How well does paint adhere?

You don´t need to use prime before paint a plastic resin model. We still do it, it is something that we do always... so ... anyway is not neccesary. You won´t have any problem how paint is adhere to the figured.

About the scenery:

Our scenery is designed to hide elements and miniatures behind them. We use to used our stone walls to represent a Lord state. Each wall is a independent piece, so you can deployed as you like.

I like the captain except for his oversized polearm. I know it's pretty common (and a lot of GW's minis have much more egregious problems in this regard), but it'd be good to see a pollaxe more along the lines of the proportions of real ones, since the rest of this dude is so well-observed. I estimate that the two main striking parts of your one (hammer and spike) need to be reduced in size by almost half, if they're to look anything like the real things... and it just ends up looking kinda comical on what is otherwise a gorgeous and serious miniature.

I recognise I'm probably in the minority when it comes to this stuff though.

We have done bases for our Reichguard foot knights.






Regiment bases have space enough for 20 figures. The best is that we have two different models, so you can use both togher and fit 40 figures! There are two ways to place togheter the scenic bases, half a way with a very wide front or full way with a deeper regiment.

This is a sad summer because I came back too soon from Scotland. Anyway, now I must work in LastSword again.

Nowadays I have a new ruined house on my workshop desk, so I will be working on it. Besides we have a few shows in September so I should craft extra goods, and a new kickstarter is coming!!!
