Hierophant Bio-Titan Basing/Support

I recently ordered one of the Hierophant models to have as a big painting and modeling project as I've decided to wait for a new codex and/or 8th edition before getting any new standard models. Based on what I've read there's been a fair amount of, but not across the board, recommendations of adding additional support for the model as the legs will not maintain integrity on their own. So I'm curious how essential this is? I know the model is very large so making a full base for it may make it nearly unplayable. But can I get away with making a generic storage base to support it while not in use or should I look at adding some level of permanent supports?

In the case that i should look at some extra permanent supports an idea I'd put together but am not sure about the feasibility is using a flying monstrous creature base. Would that flying creature base be enough or should I look at implementing some sort of metal support? The goal then would be to deck it out to look like a digestion pool and use something like QuickWater to create the slime and decorate even the support to look like it's all being sprayed out by the hierophant. Thanks in advance for any help and advice.

Hierophant Bio-Titan Basing/Support

The legs are very thin little points. The model being solid resin puts a lot of weight on those leg tip blades. They end up bending and bowing. Ruining their shape.

You need a support to take the actual weight or the legs will be ruined.

I would suggest a metal rod attached to a small base at it's center or a tripod of metal rods with rubber feet.

The last one I did using a Knight titan base with the same idea.
I think 3/4" acrylic rod or so was used for support, just dremeled into the body.
