Best Gaming Artwork of 2016 (Gaming Artwork that was published or officially sanctioned and made public by the game creators between 1st January 2016 and 31st December 2016.

This can include images that were included on box art, in rule books, on websites as part of the enhancement of the game. The game or the artwork does not have to have been created within the period of 1st January 2016 & December 31st 2016 , however the artwork must have been made public between this period)

Best Sculpt of 2016 (Best sculpt or single model for a gaming item made available to purchase between 1st January and 31st December 2016. This can include both hand sculpted and CAD designed items to produce the most aesthetically pleasing gaming piece, this can include figures or vehicles or terrain accessories that have required sculpting)

Best Paint Job of 2016 (Painted model that was made available to view between the 1 Jan 2016- 31st Dec 2016. This can include pieces which were entered into competition, commercial work, and pieces painted for personal use. This is about the artist and the aesthetic of the fully painted item.)

But I do find it weird they leave it this late to do the awards for 2016

they hope to start doing the actual awards ceremony as a genuinely live event with attendees, guests etc and the new dates fit better with the plan, (probably not this time though)
