So codices could be invalidated. So we may be getting stats/rules for units for free.

Just think of June being the release of 8th edition. (not saying it is, but for sake of argument.) Will you get your monies worth in the next 6 or so weeks?

Now that I started working and I got free money again to buy stuff, anything 40K I am holding out on buying. I did buy the Gathering Storm III but I am not buying it for rules but for the fluff and reading and wanting the minis so the money is worth it for me. Codices and other books I am not buying because I don't feel I will have my monies worth and would like to try and make a WYSIWYG army coming back I am holding off until I see what 8th brings.

For me, I can wait and not play or play with what I have now. Can you? That is the question. If you buy now, will you get your monies worth? If not wait. Another option is only buy the rules digitally. Is that an option? Not sure how much it is but say it's $30 or so bucks.
