Noise Marine Arms- Fit issues

Hey, Dakka. I'm building and painting an army of Emperor's Children, and while the painting is going great, I've run into issues with the GW Noise Marine upgrade kits. The arms simply fit terribly onto the torsos, as the torso is a curved surface while the connecting joint o the arm is perfectly fla, creating Marines whose arms look like they are connected to their bodies only at a single point, and limbs twisted at unnatural angles. Do you think I should use green stuff to fill in the gaps? File down the torsos? I'm really at a bit of a loss here, and am not certain what will look good. So thoughts?
