Cadia burns and the followers of chaos spew forth from the eye of terror in an orgy of wanton destruction. Hive worlds, once bustling cesspools of humanity, now lay silent under rubble and fire.
...Darkness has come.

Deep within the consecrated earth of Terra an ancient soul stirs; called from the wilderness by The emperor himself. 17 years has that soul has been buried, too weak to return. it's zeal spent, it's vigour exhausted. After half a decade of bringing death and destruction to heretics and Xenos scum alike the souls spirit succumbed to the vile gods of apathy and lay dormant, it's body broken.

Today that soul has risen from the dirt to fight for the emperor once more.

Hello Dakka, I've recently returned to the hobby after 17 years on the waggon and im to get some inspiration. I've mainly been into the modelling/painting side of the hobby although I have played many a game in the past. ive been reading Dakka for a while now alongside formulating an army backstory for my new imperi.... Astra Militarum (whats all that about?) anyway I have a few conversions planned out and I'd like to start on them ASAP. With that in mind where's the best place to ask if anyone can identify certain bitz from images i've got?
