So i am making a Grey knight list and i have never in my 2 years of playing really made an allied detachment list.

So the question is,

1. If i take an allied detachment, do i need to follow that detachments Force Organization Chart (1hq 1-2troop etc..) or can i just take the models i ideally want?

and

2) there is nu restriction on who can ally with who, it does however effect how they do on the battle field.
