When I started 40K, I painted some terrible minis using a base of something like Goblin Green (might have been anything, I didn't realize GW made paints in 1994).

Here is one that I found recently (I like the booties):



I tried to replicate the scheme (sans booties and knee pads) and something feels off. I think the red is a bad match.



I wondered if anyone had any suggestions for a better color for a Goblin green base (over Waaagh green).

Perhaps Khorne Red could work for the red, if you wanted it a little darker and more like your original but I actually quite like what you've done.
