Scout Sentinels - Deepstrike/Outflank Denial

So I have been playing around with scout sentinels trying to come up with ways to make them viable now that they lost their ability to outflank & came up with this:

From what I have seen thus far, every outflanking/deepstriking unit in the game must be deployed 9" away from an enemy model. If you have come across exceptions to this rule let me know. Using the 9" rule, basically what this means is that every model has essentially an 18" sphere of influence in which enemy models cannot deepstrike into. As IG players, the vast majority of the time we want to prevent this at all costs. If we are using the standard 4x6 table & deploying on 6' side 4 models can nearly prevent deepstriking entirely within our deployment zone. As you can see above. By deploying scout sentinels we can nearly double this range using their special rule. After both sides have deployed, advance them 9" forward. This extends the range of deepstrike/outflank denial to nearly half the table. This will be invaluable against armies like Tyranids that are guaranteed to be in assault with you turn 1 every match using Trygon/Swarmlord combo.
