This leaves me about 50 points left over for war gear? A power claw? Every unit now has to pay for the items it has - the points listed in the model entry don't account for wargear. This leads me to believe that the rest of your models points costs are off.

Also check out this list; it's similar to what you wanted to do (you can find the batrep online somewhere); I think the list got pretty lucky overall, so it's hard to say if the kan wall is effective or not.
