				<title>8th edition characters attacking questions</title>
				<description><![CDATA[ I'm not sure if in right spot but can someone explain this to me.<br /> <br /> So characters like lords and captains and such don't join units. And they cannot be targeted in shooting unless their the closest.<br /> <br /> Can characters charge and assault enemy units like normal? Or do they have to get sucked in with hero intervention.<br /> <br /> If they can charge and assault normally, then can someone explain what hero intervention is for? I am brain farting and am missing the the core concept here.<br /> <br /> Thanks for any help and sorry if it's in the wrong spot or already been discussed. ]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ They can charge and assault like normal, they just do it separately from other units now rather than rolling together with a unit.<br /> <br /> Heroic Intervention is for when the enemy charges you, they don't want to fight your character, but your character wants to fight them. It lets your character act as a sort of counter charging deterrent, so that the enemy has to declare him as a target of the charge and suffer his overwatch (or else chargers can't attack him), stay more than 3" away (so he can't intervene), or risk him swinging in to bash some heads without getting hurt that turn himself.]]></description>
