Wraithlord and Reapers sit up the back doing what they do best.  The farseer skyrunner and windriders move around the edges dooming targets. Scorpians arrive when needed to deal with what ever threat they can manage preferably after a guardian squad has opened up on them to increase the scorpians chances.<br /> <br /> I haven't played since 3rd/4th edition so hopefully I haven't missed something of importance.<br /> <br /> Please let me know what you think and how I could make this more competitive.]]></description>

				<title>[1850] - Eldar Craftworld - 8th first attempt</title>
				<description><![CDATA[ Vectored engines and heavy weapons do not mix. They allow you to be -1 to hit when you advance (but you can't fire heavy weapons when you advance) so reserve that upgrade for serpents that are using Shuriken Cannons only (I kinda feel <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(382);'>SC</span> are a waste on a serpent though - a lot of points for 9 shots <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(123);'>str</span> 6 1 D) At least they will be very hard to kill.<br /> <br /> Wraithlord I think is much better than it was in 7th but keep in mind that it will be shooting it's bright lances at -1 <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(14);'>bs</span> as it moves towards the enemy. If you just wanted some backfield firepower a Warwalker would probably be a better choice.<br /> <br /> A footseer will probably work better in this list as your seer has basically one job here (buffing you DR) So he doesn't need that high price tag for mobility.<br /> <br /> So you are at -30 points for those vectored engines - so you have 41 points to spare if you did nothing else. Maybe Consider upgrading some <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(327);'>BL</span> to Star Cannon? (they are awesome in this edition) Or give your DR exarch a Tempest launcher (it's very good anti infantry and that is what this army lacks)<br /> ]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ Keep in mind that Wave Serpents can't shoot anything if they advance so taking off vectored engines is definitely a good idea. If you're looking to toughen up your serpents then add spirit stones.  I would also bring 1 different weapon for a serpent, maybe twin shuricannons to save points or starcannons for those pesky multi-wound squads. <br /> <br /> I agree with xenomancer about your wraithlord and farseer. War walkers are just better at shooting than wraithlords; and with the new rules for characters your farseer should be fine on foot or in a wave serpent<br /> ]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ Great feed back guys I do appreciate it. Do you think its worth having a Farseer or an Autarch? I can get a Autarch and a warlock for a similar cost to a foot farseer and I kinda guess it would be as effective with the guardians allowing doom and reroll ones if bunched which could create a lot of firepower.
