Anyone have any good tutorials on how to paint pigs and wild boars?

I have been asked by a friend to paint some more Gremlins from Malifaux and these contains a lot of pigs and some boars.
What i wanted to know is anyone have any good toturials on how to make them look realistic?
(I mainly use vallejo colors but i can get a hold of other colors too)

I could imagine that perhaps i could use some Vallejo model color black red mixed with dwarf skin and blend up to pure dwarf skin but i don´t know, so any advice i would really appreciate.

Real domestic pigs -- sus scrofa domesticus -- are basically human skintones; quite often primarily caucasian white/pink, some with dark brown/black skin features (saddlebacks being an example, also spots and dapples). So in the limit, the colours you use for humans..

I think a "redder" skin suits the models better (they do live outdoors and get more sun) and hence I use I use VJ "Red Leather", "Brown Rose" and "Beige Red" in various mixes -- pigs can have a lot of large areas to cover and you may need more than a couple of shades to pick out the muscle groups smoothly. The one I did last night is a Flintloque cartoony pig, so I went further and did mixes with white for detail pop.

Eyes are big, dark pupils without much white visible, so the sort of technique you'd use for horses.

Pigs can also have quite thick hair on their heads and sometimes backs -- this is often a reddish brown and can add a lot to the character in the same sort of way that the white markings do for horses.
