But "good enough" is relative. If you have a good lighting setup you can do videos with a fairly cheap camera, and you may even want a specialized video camera over one designed for still images. But that same camera won't be nearly as good if you want to use it for general photography like taking landscape shots outdoors in dim light, if you want to do photography beyond miniatures.
