Dark Imperium Death Guard Opinions on painting scheme

Hi all,

So having come back to the hobby after binning 40K when 3rd Edition came out, I've painted my first models in almost two decades. I'm moderately happy, but I can't decide on how exactly I want them to come out. These are finished to much the same level (some tidying up needed, I know!) but after washing the power armour I've retouched the plates on the Plague Marine's power armour and added some weathering whereas I've not gone that far yet on the Blightbringer. When I look at them together, I'm not sure if I should have left it at the wash? What do folks think?

I also had a plan to add a layer of burnt umber into the recesses to get the armour even filthier after the weathering, but am now apprehensive!

Any suggestions appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Light is always cool, but you need some heavy washes - the fella on the left looks super pale/bland/blank. Gotta help break some of that into contrast (dip or washes).

Now, the trick - ignore everything I just said if you like them. None of it matters if you're happy with it.

Yeah, too light and washed out is kinda how I felt. I'll maybe do another seraphim sepia wash then hit it with the burnt umber too.
