Mold Release Removal

Hello everyone!

So I have a bunch of resin models highly detailed so I want to be certain the model release is all off so I don't waste time trying to prime/paint the model.

Right now I am putting the models in Tupperware with water and dawn platinum for a few days and shaking them every couple of days till I have time to rinse them off. I am also using a soft toothbrush to scrub the models.

Is the scrubbing required? Or should the release be all off just from sitting for a few days and shaking them?
I am thinking of using simple green for a few hours if it'll help remove it faster.
I am getting tired of the time it takes to scrub the models since they have so many small parts. Trying to find a way that doesn't require scrubbing.

I've though of using a waterpick and such to rinse them and sort of brush them off.
And experience or other ways of getting release off would be great!

Mixing some dish soap in warm (NOT HOT) water, letting the bits sit for 15 minutes or so and lightly scrubbing with a toothbrush always works for me. Some scrubbing is, in my experience, required, as some agitation is generally necessary to seperate things. You can't wash a plate just by rinsing and soaping it.
