				<description><![CDATA[ I want an ork list that can shoot.  It is not super serious and probably not competitive at all.  It could potentially win though.  I might play it in the local league if I match up against an opponent who isn't that good.<br /> <br /> <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(56);'>HQ</span>:  Ghazghkull Thraka<br /> <br /> Elite:  3 meganobz.  3x kustom shoota, 3x powerclaw<br /> <br /> Trukk w/ rokkit<br /> <br /> Trukk w/ rokkit<br /> <br /> Battlewagon w/4x big shoota, kannon, killkannon<br /> <br /> 6xflash gitz, 6x ammo runts<br /> <br /> 12x Lootas<br /> <br /> 5x Killa Kans  (all with rokkits)<br /> <br /> Basically the kans and the wagon move up and threaten the board.  It will have to work overtime, but hopefully won't be too easy to destroy.<br /> <br /> The lootas and the flash gitz stay in the trukks.  If I deploy well, the lootas should not have to move at all and can continue to pour the hurt into something.  The flash gitz trukk might have to move once to get into range, but they hit on 4+ and with 6 ammo runts, They can put out some hurting.  <br /> <br /> Any thoughts?<br /> <br /> ]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ for shooty, battlwagon with killkannon is only three points less than a battlewagon with supa kannon, which is <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(1);'>2d6</span> shots so better as more dice = more chances to roll that 5+.  So right there supa kannon is a much better deal, and one that might actually work almost as intended.  <br /> <br /> However if you want shooting I think Kill tanks(either version, bursta for a kilkannon with more shots and better <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(6);'>ap</span>, or giga for some anti infantry punch) are 271, or 327 with 2 racks of rockets. or mek guns is where its at.  6-9 mek guns of <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(684);'>KMK</span>(300-400 pts), or 6-9 kannons (269 pts).  All ofthese options hit on 4+ are on semi durable platforms(ok, the gunz are on several seperate platforms which is its own kind of durability).  For 70-100 pts more than a battlweagon with killkannon you can have an option that hits half the time and does moderatly decent damage from either a set of gunz, mek guns or kill tank.  if you want a shooting ork list I'd build your list around 700 pts of 2 kill tanks or 400 ish pts in gunz. That still elaves you half your 1500 to add in the meat of boyz, or whatever ele you want.  I think kans are to oexpensive per rocket, The same points in a kill tank is more wounds, higher toughness(although worse save cuz orks are the only race that would build a super heavy weaker than a regular tank(battlewagon))  and <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(1);'>2d6</span> + 4 rockets of anti tank shooting.  Its less diverse than yoru list, but only by a little at what I think would be increased ability to do what you want, which is decent shooting.  <br /> <br /> ]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ Full squads of shoota Boyz put out good dakka with a weirdboy to get them in the right place they're perfectly viable.  Mek/Big guns are decent just make sure your not playing <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(316);'>KP</span> or do kill points = power level.  Warbikers are probably our best shooting unit, just keep them out of <span class="glossaryitem" onmouseover='gp(19);'>cc</span>.  Tankbustas are very expensive but good shots at vehicles.]]></description>

It looks like a fun list to bring against someone just getting started, when folks arnt min maxing and taking "this is what I have " kind of lists most stuff in the ork book does ok enough to have a casual fun game.  But slightly competitive lists will delete half this army in one turn, and then the other half on turn two.  Nothing in it is really threatening to competitive builds from other dexes.  ]]></description>

				<description><![CDATA[ I re-wrote it with tankbustas instead of flash gitz, lost the kannon and kill kannon, and added kommandos.  Looks stronger already.  I'll probably save it for a weak opponent or friendly game.]]></description>
