I've been playing the table top game for almost a year now and I can't get enough of it! It started at a con where they were running demos, it was a small squad of Tau vs a small squad of blood angels. As you can tell by the username, I played tau for the first time there and fell in love.
But that's not the only thing I have!
I have an okay start to a Tyranid army (about forty termagaunts, a flyrant and two carnifexes) along with some miscellaneous bits and bobs from other sets I bought (wanna do an Imperial Guard army some day.)

I've never really won a match before to be honest haha, though the thing that has kept me in the game so far is the painting. Yep. I paint. I have no idea where I am skill wise, because if I look back and the Riptide I painted like eight months ago I shudder at the colours.. So I guess I'm somewhere between beginner, and intermediate? What do I know.
I do have people who pay me to paint minis for them, so that is a thing.

Oh, and some how I tricked my girlfriend into getting into this game, and now she is obsessed with the Space Wolves (I bought a dark imperium set, and when it comes in we are painting up the space marine side for her army)

(Oh, and the reason my name is GrumpyTau is because the Tau is my favourite faction, and I have lost 90% of my Fire Warriors.. So yeah.. Overly Grumpy about that.)
