If there are more stores in your town selling the product they might wanne compete on customer service. If there are not more stores in your aria they might think it sound strange that you magically prodused it.

Some of the GW paints seem more prone to this than others, I dunno why. Just my experience with them.

I would take it back to the store, even without the receipt. Worse case, you're out a pot. But definitely check the new one if they do replace it for you.
