This will be really hard for my as i am an extremly slow painter. I usually paint one table top figure in 3-4 hours.

This wont be fast to finish an army in 2 months so i will learn how to become faster and try to maximize effort with simple color scheme etc.

Here is a test cultist i did:



Dont mind the gloss varnish lol, it was an accident.

After painting this one i decided to forget about gold and use only silver for all metals, and have them drybrushed instead. At least for the basic cultist.

My overall plan for my board is to have a chaos altar in the middle surrounded by cultists and some marines and apostle raising up a demon prince with alot of blood an sacrified cultist troops laying dead around etc.

This first month i have to try and finish all basic toops so i have next month free for the characters and board. Hopefully i can make it!

I'm in a similar position myself this year, despite promising myself last year that I wouldn't make this year a rush.

First batch of cultists ready! Feels abit lazy with painting the fabric just red and black but i see no other way i can finish this in time otherwise.

Well, i gotta say this quick paint drybrush job doesnt translate very well to pictures. Pains me alittle but it have to be if i will have any chance of finishing this in time.
Luckily i have 2 more squads of these in my collection so i dont feel tooo bad about not giving them my best.

Also have decided to just go mixed classic chaos army instead so i can use some of my other minis.
