3x xv8 crisis suits
2 x twinlinked plasma rifle + targetting array
1x Shas'ui w/ twinlinked missilepod+cyclic ion blaster+ drone controller (2 shield drones)

12 man strike team
7x firewarriors with pulse rifles
3x firewarriors with pulse carbines +photon grenades (one of which is a shas'ui)
2x gun drones

1x ethereal on hover drone

1x cadre fireblade (hopefully going to either model this guy myself from bits or go buy the kit)


my idea for the list is that i would deploy the strike team ethereal and fireblade in a somewhate dfensive position and then save my crisis suits for a manta strike behind the enemy once ive identified key targets. hopefully going to pick up a commander box next so i can build the infamous 4x fusion blaster model. so there are my ideas, im not sure if im even withing a realm of reality with my thought patern here but i would greatly appreciate any feedback, tips, advice, criticisms. cheers! ]]> http://www.dakkadakka.com/dakkaforum/posts/preList/739944/9608928.page http://www.dakkadakka.com/dakkaforum/posts/preList/739944/9608928.page GMT First time tau 500pt army ng on Tau myself and kind of nooby too, but 2 hq seems a bit much at 500pts. And the ethereal is really not that good. I would switch him for a drone squad pr, other troop slot and / or more drones on the crisis.

I was just kinda running the ethereal cause i had him to be honest. Im still not sure whats strong and whats not with tau but i like the idea of more drones instead of the ethereal. Or potentially a pathfinder aquad with markerlights.
